Guidelines for experts
vBoard’s business experts are not bound by formal terms and conditions. Experts represent a wide cross-section of professionals working in an open environment. We want associates who like to work in an environment of professionalism, mutual respect and integrity. However, there are some general criteria that verified experts in our database will comply with at all times.
Joining vBoard
Our experts are individuals who have accepted to be part of the database in the website and agree to abide by its terms of use. They accept its aims and objectives and take responsibility for their opinions. Experts will automatically become part of the database after their credentials they have uploaded are verified
Experts' credentials
The professional details provided for the database shall be current information only, and must be self-reviewed and updated every 3 months to ensure authenticity. Experts will be solely responsible for any misrepresentation, and may be liable to disciplinary action.
Financial terms
The website currently specifies the expert's fees at 60% or more of the charges recovered from the client, as per the scope of engagement in each case. The fees are subject to TDS rules applicable as per the Income Tax Act 1961 and as amended from time to time.
Expert's availability
Once the experts are listed according to their self-defined criteria, they shall be available for engagement when contacted, except where they excuse themselves for reasons like conflict of interest or other situations, which they need to clarify to with the website as and when they arise.
Disclosure
Experts will be held up to the highest standards of integrity and professional conduct. By featuring in the database, they declare they haven’t been involved in any legal action, or been convicted in any civil or criminal proceedings, or been dismissed from service because of it.
Exit policy
Experts' may voluntarily exit from the platform with a week’s notice. Experts with repeated adverse reviews from clients and the advisory team of vBoard will be removed temporarily or permanently according to the situation. The expert shall have the right for a final appeal before the any action is taken.
