Guidelines for experts
vBoard’s business experts are not bound by formal terms and conditions. Experts represent a wide cross-section of professionals working in an open environment. We want associates who like to work in an environment of professionalism, mutual respect and integrity. However, there are some general criteria that verified experts in our database will comply with at all times.
Joining vBoard
All experts are individuals who have accepted the terms & conditions of the website. They broadly accept the aims and objectives and take individual responsibility for their opinions. Experts will formally be onboarded based on their credentials submitted to & verified by vBoard.
Experts' credentials
The professional details provided for the database shall be current information only, and must be self-reviewed / updated every 3 months to ensure authenticity. Experts will be solely responsible for any misrepresentation, and may be liable to disciplinary action for material mis-statements
Financial terms
The website currently offers three types of remuneration viz. (1) Client Consulting Fees (2) Client Oversight Fees (3) Client Retention These would be subject to review from year to year based on conditions on the ground and statutory or legal changes. Refer Experts' Rights, Duties & Fee structure.
Expert's availability
Once the experts are listed in the vBoard data base based on their submissions, they shall be available for engagement when contacted, except where they excuse themselves for reasons like conflict of interest or other personal reasons which they need to communicate with the vBoard.
Disclosure
Experts will have an arms-length relationship with the client unless disclosure is made about existing client-expert relationship. As part of vBoard, they vouch for maintaining the highest standards of transparency, professionalism & integrity, in their role and their services to clients.
Exit policy
Experts' may voluntarily exit from the platform with a week’s notice. Experts with repeated adverse reviews from clients & low ratings from clients will be removed temporarily or permanently after internal review, wherein opportunity will be given for an appeal before any action is taken.
