"An expert is a person who has few new ideas; a beginner is a person with many " - Albert Einstein. The perils of knowledge itself couldn't have been put better.

But is knowledge everything? " The illiterate of the future are not those who can't read or write but those who cannot learn, unlearn, and relearn.” - Alvin Toffler

HR professionals give you less chances of finding suitable employment if you are above a certain age, probably because of the above issue of learning & relearning.

It is famously said that a smart phone can probably earn five doctorate degrees in the time an individual can earn one. With AI around, who really knows the future ?

It is not only the smart phone; now every thing relating to business is geared in favour of youth who can be initiated faster into the technology backend sooner.

Everything in nature is cyclic but if it has taken less than half a century to come to this phase, so its possible that the next phase would be upon us sooner than later.

So the question before the entrepreneur and the businessman is really how to hire, to outsource or not, how to make your technology survive obsolescence.

There are no easy answers, but THE SECOND OPINION concerns itself with the past, only to find answers to the issues and challenges the future will bring.
