I came across a very interesting piece by Ravi Venkatesan, whom I always followed as a thought leader and a person who was many things by the time he was 33.

He was the Chairman of Microsoft India, BoB and Cummins India & was a co-chairman of Infosys Ltd. He is an Alum of IIT Bombay & Harvard Business School.

He has penned a brilliant piece titled 'Why you need a personal Board of Directors', which is essential reading for all whether you are in business or a professional and when Ravi Venkatesan says something, we have to put down what we are doing and just listen since the advice is coming from a person who has virtually seen it all.

He says "Making intentional, life-changing decisions can often feel overwhelming. However, having a trusted group of individuals to turn to for guidance and support can make all the difference. Seeking the advice of those you respect and admire can help you navigate these situations more effectively. This group of people, a.k.a. your personal Board of Directors, provides valuable insights and perspectives when you need them most".

The link (URL) is as given along side and the video is a must hear & read for all . To say anything more is " To gild refined gold, to paint the lily To smooth the ice, or add another hue Unto the rainbow, To throw a perfume on the violet" as said in King John by Shakespeare
